Wayside Collision Centers have a five step process we painstakingly implement in the repair of every damaged vehicle for which we are entrusted. Each step is carefully executed by ASE and I CAR GOLD Class certified technicians. In addition, our Wayside quality assurance team oversees each and every step to insure that your repaired vehicle is returned to you in pre-accident condition.

Step One: Estimating Services — 

Wayside Collision Centers utilize state of the art computer software to aid in the detection of each and every damaged part on your vehicle. Our techs completely disassemble and check for any hidden damage not apparent from initial inspection. If frame or structural damage is suspected, we employ our state of the art laser body scanners. If our investigation uncovers additional damage to your vehicle, we notify the insurance company and begin the repair process.

Step Two: Repair Process —

Once the discovery portion of the damage assessment has been completed, we promptly begin the repair process. Wayside replaces each and every damaged component with only original equipment manufacturer (OEM)parts or certified alternative components. Again, the Wayside repair team consists of only ASE and I CAR GOLD Class technicians. Wayside's standing as an I CAR GOLD Class Professional is one of the longest enduring in the state of Ohio.

Step Three: Refinishing Process —

After our quality assurance team has approved the repairs, we apply the finest quality, catalyzed urethane primer surfacer to the previously damaged area. Our primer meets or exceeds all manufacturer's specs. Because color match is so critical, Wayside employs the DuPont Touch Mix Computer System in our centers. This DuPont system guarantees a flawless color match, including shading tips for custom color jobs.

After identifying the proper color, we sand, mask and clean the surface before the paint is expertly applied. After the epoxy prime coat, we then paint the repaired surface with the matched base color coat. Finally we apply an acrylic urethane clear-coat and then bake the painted area to assure the repair is completely invisible. Our team then inspects the job to make sure it will meet or exceed your and our expectations.

Step Four: Finishing Touches —

Will it be done on time? Yes!

Will it be fixed properly? Yes!

Will it be as good as before the accident? Yes

Your repaired vehicle will be returned to you sparkling clean, inside and out. We even go the extra mile to make sure the headlights have been tested and aimed and all interior and exterior lights and warnings are functioning. Finishing touches are part and parcel of our team's final step in our award winning quality control!

Step Five: Out the Door —

Finished when promised and returned to pre-accident condition...or even better!

We even file the final repair papers with your insurance company, with a final copy for you and your records.
